From OrthodoxSource
Welcome! OrthodoxSource is a repository of archival and contemporary open-license Orthodox content, including documents, images, audio, and video. It is a simple publishing/public storage platform as well as a tool for historical researchers.
The site is dedicated to Dr. Jaroslav Pelikan, who recently fell asleep in the Lord. He was passionate about preserving “the links of memory” which tie us to our Orthodox past, and exhorted Orthodox hierarchs and faithful to create local and national repositories so that the stories of Orthodox life and faith would not be forgotten (e.g. see his essay, "The Future of Our Past".)
With this in mind, OrthodoxSource aspires not only to collect current media, but also to provide a simple means for local parishes to publish archives and resources online. It differs from OrthodoxWiki in its focus and format – whereas OrthodoxWiki is an encyclopedia, OrthodoxSource serves to catalogue and collect various sources. These projects serve as complements to one another, and the existence of OrthodoxSource should likewise focus OrthodoxWiki’s mission, as, in some cases, OrthodoxWiki has already been serving as this kind of repository. OrthodoxSource relies heavily on OrthodoxWiki, so if you're looking for a help file or support and can't find it here, look over there.
You may now login using your OrthodoxWiki username and password. You must have a confirmed email to add or edit content on OrthodoxSource.
OrthodoxSource currently hosts 73 files.
